Compass Menu began with a simple idea — to share authentic, wholesome food inspired by cuisines from around the world.
After more than 10 years working in kitchens across the Sunshine Coast, our founder Andrii saw an opportunity to introduce flavours and dishes that were still largely undiscovered locally.
Over time, the concept naturally evolved toward Eastern European cuisine — the food Andrii grew up with through his own background and family traditions.
Today, Compass Menu focuses on authentic Eastern European comfort food made with a simple philosophy:
honest food, made properly.
Everything on the menu is prepared with care using wholesome ingredients, traditional cooking methods and real flavours. No processed food and no deep-fried food — just hearty meals, handmade desserts and slow-cooked dishes designed to feel comforting, nourishing and satisfying.
From Ukrainian classics and Hungarian goulash to syrniki and homestyle favourites, the menu reflects the kind of food shared around family tables across Eastern Europe for generations.
